Knowledge of Beneficial Botanicals

Throughout the millennia, humans and creatures alike have been dependent upon plants for food, shelter, protection and remedy.   The praises of plants, along with what they provide us, have been embodied in art, literature, poetry, story and song amongst all known cultures.  Much of what we know about the beneficial properties of plant has been passed from one generation to the next.  Up until the 20th century, which marks the rise of the modern pharmaceutical industry, Americans were more inclined to turn to plants as the preferred method to maintain or improve their physical, mental or emotional states.  Much antidotal information about the beneficial properties of plants has been forgotten in little more than a single generation.  It is Earthwise's passion to rediscover and preserve this information for the generations to come.
